Balance Point has been serving the Greenwood community since 2006. It is the second oldest gym in the Greenwood area. Balance Point is located 1686 Calhoun Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646. In the past year, Balance Point enrollment has tripled, hosting athletes from Ninety Six, Greenwood, Laurens, Abbeville, Anderson, and Belton Honea Path.
Balance Point's team currently consists of Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels. They represent our colors teal and purple. In the 2018-2019 the BP team won an all around State Title, as well as numerous individual state awards. They compete under the AAU division.
In October 2021, Balance Point relocated from Main St to a larger facility in Calhoun Ave. The facility was once owned by the Greenwood YMCA. It was sold in August of 2021 and serves as the new facility for Balance Point Gymnastics Center.
